2x UMB Progress
I made a few changes to my in-progress primary. The pump is the ubiquitous schwinn single action. The beginning of a trigger is there. I chopped 1/4" off the front of alot of the fittings for weight and to raise the shoulder stock a bit. I still have to do some final adjustments to the placement of the tanks. Then the dreaded check valves!

This is indeed a very original and interesting primary. Do you plan for the trigger to shoot two tanks at once, or have them independent?
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Pause. Independent right now but I'd like to be able to hit both at the same time. Still haven't figured it out yet really.
DeleteYou could try and stagger the tanks and put them on the same trigger but different length of pulls on the trigger will fire the tanks. Ala Tetra strike, kinda. I think NoM is making something like this but with Big Salvo tanks to go under his +bow. He might not answer many questions from random people but he is a nice guy. You could always go through Nrev or ask in the concept/questions thread for some help. :)
DeleteYeah I don't think I've spoken with NoM yet, although I should have. It's definitely going to be a bit tricky to do a good sequential trigger in this instance, esp. on the first go. I'll get the dimensions down pat and put off gluing/fabbing it up until things are perfect. That should ensure that the next one I build will actually work!
